Dr. Montijo has been working in dentistry for over a decade, and he’s passionate about providing world-class care in a relaxing and convenient environment for his patients. He takes great pride in knowing that his patients often remark that their experience was unlike any dental appointment they’ve ever had. With a strong team, advanced technology, and a dedication to patient comfort, Dr. Montijo creates exceptional experiences every day. Mentoring fellow doctors and fostering a positive team culture is especially important to Dr. Montijo. He believes in building an environment where everyone can contribute to enjoyable patient experiences and meaningful outcomes. Dr. Montijo’s journey into dentistry started at a young age, thanks to his mother, a dental hygienist, who encouraged him to shadow her boss. It was then that he realized dentistry was his calling. He saw the impact of oral health on overall well-being and how the right dental office can offer tailored solutions to benefit each patient. The trust patients placed in his mother’s dentist created a work environment that inspired him to pursue the profession further. Dr. Montijo earned his dental doctorate from the University of Florida and has continued to expand his expertise through post-graduate training in dental implants, orthodontics, sleep apnea care, and cosmetic dentistry. He is also a proud Fellow in the Academy of General Dentistry, a prestigious achievement earned by less than 3% of practicing dentists nationwide. Outside of the office, Dr. Montijo enjoys spending time with his family, staying active with running, exercising, and golfing, as well as cheering on the Gators in football and basketball. He’s also an avid traveler and enjoys exploring new cuisines whenever he has the chance.
